Founded by Helen Lanigan, our salon has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving business hub known for its professionalism, creativity, and warm atmosphere.

Helen began her career training and working in various salons before taking the leap to open her own. Within a few short years, she purchased her first premises on Friar Street, where her business flourished. Always striving for growth and new opportunities, Helen expanded in 2017 by opening DejaBrew Coffee Bar in Liberty Square, Thurles.

In 2024, she took another exciting step, relocating Unique Hair Design to its new home at 15/16 Liberty Square, Thurles, located beside DejaBrew. Alongside the salon’s move, she also launched Melt Dessert Parlour in the same location, further cementing her presence in the town’s vibrant business community.
